This innovative software application aims to enable monitoring and analysis to improve the economic performance and quality of CIP processes. The management of clean-in-place (CIP) operations is thus jointly monitored by all teams: Process, Quality, Projects, Maintenance, and Environment, following a continuous improvement method, and with the essential support of the Opticlean sensor.

Elodys International has developed, with the support of a Breton research institute (Photonics Bretagne), an optical sensor: OptiClean.


This sensor allows for the optimization of cleaning phases in processes within the agri-food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical sectors. Based on a principle of UV and IR spectrophotometry, it enables real-time measurement of the variation in organic load contained in the cleaning solutions of CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems, thus determining the optimal washing recipe. This provides numerous economic and environmental benefits.
