During CFIA 2024, Laïta presented its feedback after testing the Opticlean, the Green CIP, and reflecting on the NEPure. As a result, Gabriel Mauguin, R&D Industrialization Project Manager at the Scientific Department of the Laïta Cooperative, was able to present an initial assessment to date, showing a 95% reduction in turbidity between the incoming and outgoing lye. A volumetric and flow yield, relative to concentration, of 95%. A reduction in lye consumption of about 70% on one piece of equipment. A savings of 6 to 7 m3 per wash on one piece of equipment, as well as a reduction in the COD load discharged.
